Location & Directions

The Chapel Hill Chamber Music Workshop takes place on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Arriving by Air or Rental Car

The closest airport is Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). It's about a half-hour away by taxi or rental car, mostly on Interstate 40.

Taxi - Tell your driver to go to Granville Towers, behind University Square, just west of campus on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill.

Rental Car - From the airport, go west on I-40 toward Chapel Hill and Durham. Take exit 273A and turn right at the top of the ramp to go toward UNC on NC Highway 54 (westbound).

After you pass a few shopping centers, Hwy 54 becomes Raleigh Road and then joins US 15-501S at an overpass. Stay on Raleigh Road and go under the overpass, to campus. The first traffic light after that should be Country Club; turn right onto it. As you drive through the UNC Campus the street becomes Cameron Ave. Once you pass the Old Well (on your right), the next cross street will be Columbia.

Turn right onto Columbia, then left onto Franklin St. Granville Towers is on the left - the high-rise buildings behind University Square shopping center.
